What is the ruling on placing children's toys for decoration in homes where there are no young children, especially dolls?

Dolls in the shape of living beings are not permitted as decorations, because they are prohibited three-dimensional images. The concession for them is only for children, not for decoration. As for those in the shape of inanimate objects, there is no harm in using them as decoration.
