What is the ruling on taking off the ihram garments without performing Umrah after making the intention for ihram and praying?
You must return to perform Umrah with sincere repentance, as your state of ihram is still valid. If intercourse occurred, you must sacrifice an animal in Mecca and distribute its meat to the poor there. You must also make up for the corrupted Umrah, and the ihram for the second Umrah should begin from the original miqat.
As for other ihram prohibitions (such as wearing tailored clothes, applying perfume, shaving hair, covering the head, shaving the pubic area, trimming the mustache, and plucking armpit hair): - If you did them out of ignorance or forgetfulness, there is nothing upon you. - If you did them intentionally, knowing the ruling, then for each prohibition, you must offer a fidyah, which is: feeding six needy persons (half a sa' for each person), or fasting three days, or sacrificing a sheep.
