What is the ruling on supplicating with weak hadiths, such as "O Allah, for You I have fasted, and with Your provision I have broken my fast," and "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; I seek forgiveness from Allah; I ask You for Paradise and seek refuge in You from the Fire"?

The supplication, "O Allah, for You I have fasted, and with Your provision, I have broken my fast," is weak. The supplication, "The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills," which is sound (hasan), suffices for it. It is recommended for the fasting person to supplicate during their fast and at the time of breaking it, because the supplication of the fasting person until they break their fast is answered. It is permissible to ask Allah for Paradise, seek refuge from the Fire, seek forgiveness, and supplicate with other lawful supplications. However, the form of the supplication, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah, I ask You for Paradise and I seek refuge in You from the Fire," has not been narrated.
