Is it permissible to seek refuge from the guardians of Hellfire without seeking refuge from Hell itself?

Seeking refuge is to ask for protection and safety. A Muslim asks Allah to fortify and protect him from what he fears. A Muslim seeking refuge with Allah from the angels entrusted with the Fire means asking for immunity from the torment that these angels are entrusted with, and protection from entering the Fire, without any negative belief towards them. The proof of its permissibility is the Prophet's, peace and blessings be upon him, seeking refuge with his Lord from Him, Glorified be He, and his saying, "I seek refuge in You from You," which means seeking refuge in the attributes of mercy from the attributes of wrath. In summary, there is no conceptual impediment in seeking refuge with Allah from the angels entrusted with the Fire. However, it is preferable to suffice with seeking refuge with Allah from the Fire and its torment without details, following the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in not overdoing it in supplication.
