What is the expiation for swearing a false oath on the Qur'an, and is the restoration of eyesight part of the recompense for the expiation?

Lying is forbidden and a major sin. If it is affirmed by swearing upon the Qur’an, it becomes even greater in sinfulness and uglier. Lying must be avoided, except in cases of necessity or need that takes its place, and on the condition that it does not result in harm to others. If the oath was sworn after reaching puberty, then you must perform sincere repentance to Allah Almighty, and increase in good deeds. It is preferable to offer an expiation for the oath. However, if the oath was sworn before puberty, nothing is required of you, as the pen is lifted from the child until they reach puberty. If the oath resulted in harm to others, then you must seek absolution from the affected party or compensate them for the value of the harm.
