The divorce of a wife does not occur if the spouses doubt its very occurrence, because certainty is not removed by doubt. However, if they are certain of its occurrence but forgot the time it happened, then the divorce does occur, and this is considered a third divorce if it was preceded by two divorces, and the wife becomes unlawful for him until she marries another husband.
