How long does semen continue to be discharged from a female after masturbation, and is it necessary to wait for its discharge to end, or is it obligatory to perform ghusl immediately after doing so?

Masturbation is forbidden, and whoever commits it must repent to Allah. Masturbation does not necessitate ghusl (ritual bath) unless semen is discharged. If semen is discharged, ghusl is not obligatory unless one intends to perform an act that requires purity, such as prayer or touching the Mus-haf (Qur'an). There is no specific time for semen to be discharged or a duration for its persistence after its cause has been engaged in.
