Is it permissible to supplicate with the words: "O Allah, forgive everyone harmed by my tongue"?

A person's supplication for the forgiveness of Muslims, whether those whose tongues have harmed him or those who have not, is a means of drawing closer to Allah Almighty, and it is the act of the prophets. If the questioner intends for this supplication to suffice as atonement for his harm to people, then the answer is that he must repent from harming Muslims and seek their forgiveness if that does not lead to corruption. Otherwise, he should suffice with supplicating for them and mentioning their good qualities.
