What is the ruling on purchasing products suspected of supporting Jews, such as Pepsi and McDonald's, and is this considered an act of outwardly supporting disbelievers and aiding them? And what is the ruling on purchasing items with images of living beings on them, or purchasing food in excess of need, or turning on the television to watch forbidden things like music, and is the person who turns on the television considered like a photographer due to the appearance of forbidden images?

The general principle is the permissibility of commercial dealings, buying and selling, with disbelievers, following the example of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, unless those in authority deem it necessary to boycott a specific entity for the benefit of Muslims. If it is not proven that certain commercial entities support Jews, and scholars have not ruled that boycotting them is obligatory, then dealing with them is permissible. Buying items that contain images of living beings is permissible, but forbidden images must be defaced. It is disliked to turn on the television if it is known that the viewer will watch something forbidden. Eating to repletion is disliked by many scholars and becomes forbidden if it leads to harm. As for turning on the television, the device itself is not considered to be producing the images displayed on it.
