Did Moses, peace be upon him, know God Almighty before God spoke to him in verse 30 of Surah Al-Qasas, taking into account that he sought forgiveness from God after killing a person in verse 16 of the same Surah?

Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, was raised among the Children of Israel who had knowledge of Allah Almighty. Therefore, Moses knew Allah and asked Him for forgiveness when he killed the Coptic man, and asked Him for guidance to the path when he headed towards Midian.
