Is cheating on the English exam forbidden or permissible?

Cheating is forbidden in all subjects, as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." This includes cheating in transactions, exams, English, and other subjects. All prescribed subjects must be fulfilled without treachery. The claim that cheating is permissible in English is incorrect because it is a prescribed subject, and passing it is a condition for graduation. Language does not classify a person as Muslim or disbeliever, and a Muslim may need the English language in their life.
