Is it permissible for a woman to work in a mixed environment with men in order to bring her husband to live with her, knowing that her husband is able to provide her with a dignified life in his country, or must she go to her husband's country for them to live together? And is what she receives from the government unlawful because her husband is able to support her? And what are the rights of the spouses towards each other, and what are the rights of the daughter upon the stepfather and vice-versa?
Marital life can only be stable when spouses are together and cooperate. There is no meaning in you being in one country and your husband in another. Efforts must be made for the family to reunite. If your husband traveling to you means you working in a mixed environment, this is forbidden and leads to corruption. Your reunion in Pakistan is better if your husband can support you there. The cost of your travel to him is his responsibility, and he should travel with you if it is feasible, to avoid you traveling without a mahram (unmarriageable kin). As for financial assistance from the government, that depends on the conditions for its eligibility. Your daughter has no right to financial support from your husband; rather, her full maintenance is the responsibility of her father, according to his ability, "Let a man of wealth spend from his wealth, and he whose provision is restricted - let him spend from what Allah has given him. Allah does not charge a soul except [according to] what He has given it. Allah will bring about, after hardship, ease." (Surat At-Talaq/7).
