What is the Shirk of Love, and is obeying a created being in disobedience to Allah out of love considered Shirk?

Allah Almighty says: (And among the people are those who take rivals to Allah, loving them as they love Allah. But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah.) Love of Allah, coupled with the utmost submission to Him, is the worship due to Him alone. Whoever's love reaches a degree that causes them to fall into disobedience of Allah has committed shirk (polytheism). Ibn Al-Qayyim says in (Ad-Dā’ wa Ad-Dawā’ - The Ailment and the Cure): "Polytheistic adoration (al-ishq al-ishraki)" becomes disbelief if the adored one is taken as a rival whom one loves as they love Allah, or more. This is shirk that is not forgiven except through repentance. The sign of this disbelieving adoration is the adorer prioritizing the satisfaction of their adored one over the satisfaction of their Lord, preferring the right of their adored one over the right of their Lord, and giving the best to the adored one, and perhaps the worst to Allah.
