Is it permissible for my wife to abort her fetus in the third month due to the deterioration of our financial situation?

Deteriorating financial conditions do not justify aborting a fetus in its third month, for Allah Almighty is the Provider, and abortion out of fear for sustenance is not permissible. Killing children for this reason is among the practices of the Age of Ignorance that Allah has forbidden. Allah Almighty says: "And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for you and for them," and He says: "And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Indeed, killing them is a great sin."
