Does the Hadith "Deeds are by intentions" apply to someone who intended to pray Qiyam al-Layl during the last ten nights of Ramadan but woke up in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) and was unable to perform ghusl until morning?

A Muslim is rewarded for their good intention. So, whoever resolves to perform an act of obedience but is prevented from doing so by an impediment, its reward will be written for them. Thus, whoever intends good, does what they can, but is unable to complete it, will receive the reward of one who completed it. This is as it has been reported that whoever is detained by an excuse will receive the reward of traveling, and that whoever falls ill or travels will have written for them what they used to do when healthy and résident.
