Is it permissible to spend the donation money designated for orphans on household needs and the daughter, or is spending restricted to the orphaned boy only?

The money that came from the orphan's association for your orphaned son, you are not permitted to take from it except in three cases:

1. If you are in need of money and take from it an amount that does not harm him. This is permissible if the mother is like the father in the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "You and your wealth belong to your father," provided that you do not take it to give it to another child.

2. If you mix your money with his money, then it is permissible for you to eat from his money in a reasonable manner, as Allah Almighty says: "And if you mix with them, they are your brothers."

3. If you are in need of money and take the lesser of your customary wage or the amount of your need, such as a wage for managing his money, and that is based on Allah Almighty's saying: "And whoever is poor, let him eat in a reasonable manner."

The advice is to refrain from this money as long as your expenses are covered.
