Is it permissible to draw an analogy from a text that curses a specific person, by applying the ruling of cursing to another person who commits greater فساد (corruption/mischief)?

The preponderant view among scholars is that it is not permissible to curse a specific individual, while it is permissible to curse a general category if it deserves to be cursed, such as saying: "May the curse of Allah be upon the oppressors," or "upon the corrupt." This is because a curse is a general threat that should not be definitively applied to a specific person, due to the possibility of their repentance, or the existence of good deeds that expiate sins, or afflictions that atone for them, or an accepted intercession. The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade cursing a specific man who used to drink alcohol because he loved Allah and His Messenger. Likewise, he (peace be upon him) was forbidden from cursing specific individuals among the polytheists.
