Is it permissible to wash the thin hair extending beyond the temples (at-taḥdhīf) along with the face and to wipe it along with the head as a precaution? Is the ablution valid or void with that, knowing its length?

"Removing it from the head, according to the majority of scholars, allows for wiping over it. Your ablution is valid if you wash it with the face and wipe over it with the head. However, you are not obligated to do so. Rather, you are obligated to follow a scholar whom you trust and act according to what he instructs you."
