Is a life partner a choice made by the individual or a destiny decreed by God?

There is no contradiction between our belief in God's predestination of all things and our belief that God has given us will and volition. The will of His servants is within the will of God. God has affirmed for the servant ability and choice, and He has affirmed His will, from which nothing departs. The servant has a will by which he chooses whom to marry, and this choice is written with God. Obstacles may arise that prevent the servant from achieving his desire, and he then knows that God did not ordain that for him, due to a wisdom. For the servant does not know the unseen, and he may dislike something which is good for him, or like something which is evil for him, and God knows and you do not know.
