Am I obligated to seek my mother's permission to move to a nearby house, in order to avoid verbal arguments and preserve my faith, knowing the virtue of parents and the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "May he be disgraced who reaches old age with both or one of his parents and yet fails to enter Paradise"?

Islam recommends honoring parents and being kind to them, and forbids disobeying them, because of the great rights they have. It is forbidden for children to mistreat their parents by word or deed, even with the word "uff," and they must speak to them gently and humble themselves before them out of mercy and submission, especially in their old age. Arguing with the mother with harsh words is considered disobedience and a major sin, and the son must avoid it and strive to honor and obey her, for Paradise lies in her constant company.
