Is it forbidden to isolate a child who has not eaten his food to avoid the mother’s anger? Is it forbidden to take surplus food that is allowed to be taken from the kindergarten? Is it forbidden to benefit from food that was going to be thrown away?

It is not permissible for the kindergarten administration to take children's food or set it aside to deceive their mothers into thinking they have eaten, as this constitutes cheating and deception. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats is not one of us," and "Deceit and treachery lead to the Fire." Whoever takes from this food has taken forbidden, unlawful gain, for Allah Almighty says: ﴿O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly﴾, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The wealth of a Muslim is not lawful except with his willing consent." It is not permissible to say that the food will be thrown away. The food should be left with the child so that the mother knows the true situation. Anything other than that is lying, cheating, deception, and consuming wealth unlawfully.
