How authentic is the Hadith: "O Allah, bless our Sham and our Yemen," and how does this Hadith—if authentic—relate to the spread of Sufi orders, the promotion of innovation (bid'ah), and the combating of the Sunnah in most regions of Sham?

The aforementioned hadith is narrated by Al-Bukhari with the wording: "O Allah, bless us in our Sham and our Yemen. They said: And in our Najd. He said: O Allah, bless us in our Sham and our Yemen. They said: And in our Najd. He said: There are earthquakes and tribulations, and from there emerges the horn of Satan." The intended blessing here refers to worldly blessings such as food and drink. Al-Muhallab and Ibn Hazm mentioned that the omission of supplication for the people of the East was due to their weakness against evil, and that an abundance of blessings does not necessitate superiority in matters of the Hereafter. The narration of Ibn Abbas confirms the supplication for blessings in the saa' and mudd, and for Sham and Yemen, and the refusal to supplicate for Iraq due to the presence of the horn of Satan and tribulations there. This indicates that the spread of innovation does not contradict the hadith, as it pertains to the blessing of livelihood matters. It has been said that the specification of these two places for blessings is either because the food of the people of Madinah was brought from them, or because Makkah is his birthplace and Madinah is his burial place. The acceptance of the supplication for blessings does not necessitate its permanence for every person and at all times.
