What is the ruling on the existence of creatures in space?

Allah is capable of creating space creatures and others. He who created humans from nothing and shaped them is capable of that, in accordance with His saying: "And He creates what you do not know," and His saying: "For every tiding is a [time of] settlement, and you will soon come to know." Allah has indeed created the angels and the jinn, and they are among the wonders of His creation. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, described the magnificence of the creation of one of the angels, saying that the distance between his earlobe and his shoulder is a journey of seven hundred years.
