Is there life in the universe elsewhere than on Earth?

The seven heavens are filled with angels, and they are their abodes, as Allah Almighty says: "The heavens almost rupture from above them, and the angels glorify [Allah] with praise of their Lord," and "But if they are arrogant - then those who are with your Lord glorify Him night and day, and they do not tire." It is also mentioned in the Hadith that seventy thousand angels pray in Al-Bayt Al-Ma'mour every day, and that the heaven groans due to the multitude of angels prostrating in it. As for other planets, there is no evidence to prove or deny the existence of life on them. A Muslim should entrust the knowledge of this unseen matter to Allah Almighty.
