Is it permissible for a woman who does not cover her face to remove the excess hair from her eyebrows for the purpose of adornment for her husband, along with the evidence?

It is not permissible for a woman to display her adornments to anyone other than her husband, and plucking eyebrows (al-namṣ) is a type of adornment. Allah Almighty warned against displaying adornments to strangers by saying: "And as for elderly women who no longer expect marriage, there is no blame upon them for putting aside their outer garments while not displaying adornment."

Displaying adornment (al-tabarruj) is when a woman reveals her beauty that she ought to conceal. It is forbidden to beautify oneself with kohl or similar items if it involves imitating disbelieving women or constitutes an ostentatious display that exposes one to foreign men.

It must be noted that differentiating between married and unmarried women regarding the ruling on plucking eyebrows (al-namṣ) is contrary to the more preponderant opinion.
