Is it obligatory to recite the Qur’an while prostrating after prayer?

It is prohibited to recite the Quran during bowing (ruku') and prostration (), based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, I have been forbidden to recite the Quran while bowing or prostrating." What is prescribed during prostration is supplication (du'a).
