What do you do about your husband who does not want you, despite your love for him, and he is an expatriate whom you have not seen for a year and a half, and he has not spent on you during this period?

It is incumbent upon the husband to provide for his wife, and it is the wife's right that her husband not be absent from her for more than six months without a valid excuse. The wife should communicate gently with her husband, and it is permissible to seek assistance from wise relatives or religious individuals to speak with him. If that does not work, she may refer the matter to the judiciary to claim her rights, or she may accept the situation if she is content with it. It is advised not to rush into seeking a divorce, and to consult with experienced individuals, and to perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance).
