What does religion command spouses to do regarding a husband's repeated adultery and his claim of remorse?

It is not permissible for the wife to follow her husband's command to find out if he committed adultery or not, nor should she listen to anyone who informs her of such a thing. The husband erred by confessing to adultery, and he must repent with a complete repentance that fulfills all its conditions and conceal his sin.

However, since what has happened has happened, she should advise him in a kind manner. If he repents, then praise be to Allah, and she should adorn herself for him and be a good wife. If he insists on adultery, then she should seek divorce.

As for chatting with girls about sexual matters, that is another reprehensible act, and she should also advise him and remind him of Allah regarding it.
