Is the repentance of one who intended to commit sins (such as drinking alcohol, fornication, and other acts) then repented from them, accepted?

This speaker has disobeyed Allah with this statement. Intending to commit a sin can be accounted for if it is a persistent and determined intention, unlike mere passing thoughts. Furthermore, a bad intention can be equal to the act itself in terms of sin if its owner is determined to carry it out, as confirmed by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "And a servant whom Allah has not provided with wealth or knowledge, he says: 'If I had wealth, I would act like so-and-so.' So, by his intention, their sins are equal." This speaker might not be able to repent due to the overpowering nature of desires or the arrival of death. He must seek forgiveness and make sincere repentance, which includes sincerity, abstaining from the sin, regretting it, resolving not to return to it, performing it at the right time, and returning rights to their rightful owners. However, if he abandons the sin out of fear of Allah, then Allah will record a good deed for him instead of the bad deed he intended.
