What is the meaning of the first three verses of Surat At-Tariq?

Allah Almighty swore in Surat At-Tariq by the heaven and At-Tariq, which is the piercing, luminous star that appears at night and disappears during the day. It is called "piercing" because its light pierces the heavens, or due to its intense brightness, or because it pierces devils. The subject of the oath is that every soul has a guardian from the angels who preserves its deeds and words, whether good or evil, and records them.
