Is it permissible for a husband to visit his sick wife on the day of her co-wife's turn?

A husband's going out to his other wife during the day is permissible if there is a need, such as delivering maintenance or checking on her, provided he does not prolong his stay. As for going out at night, it is not permissible except in cases of extreme necessity, such as severe illness. If he prolongs his stay, he must compensate the wife whose turn it was for that duration. He is permitted to enjoy everything but intercourse if he enters upon her during the day.
