Is it permissible to design an ID card or identification card that contains a personal photograph?

There is no harm in designing an identification card with an incomplete image, such as a half-picture. This is because if an image has a part removed that would prevent life from remaining in the being, it is not forbidden, especially if it is for a need. The image that is not included in the prohibition is one from which something has been removed such that the animal cannot survive without it, or if it is headless, or a head without a body, or a head and the rest of the body belongs to something other than an animal, in contrast to an image where the animal would remain alive after the removal of a part.
