What is the ruling on a son raising his voice at his parents and arguing fiercely with them, even if he feels that his father has wronged him and not treated him equally with his siblings?

It is obligatory for the father to guide his children towards good and to be just between them in affection, expenditure, and gifts.

It is obligatory for the son to spend on his parents when they are in need and he is able, and to treat them kindly in word and deed. Disagreement with parents and discussing matters with them is not forbidden if it is within the bounds of etiquette, Sharia, and noble manners.

Justice between children in giving gifts is obligatory, and it is not permissible to prefer some over others except for a valid reason such as disability, having many dependents, or seeking knowledge.
