Is it permissible to examine the genitalia of an applicant to the Military Academy as a condition for acceptance?

The 'awrah of a Muslim must be protected from all except the wife and slave-girl (milk al-yameen), or in cases of necessity. It is not permissible to expose it for the purpose of joining an officers' course, as this is not considered a necessity. Caution must be exercised to ensure that joining the army will not lead to the commission of forbidden acts.
