The answer

Patience in the face of calamities magnifies reward, expiates sins, and elevates one's status. The cause of illnesses after marriage cannot be definitively ascertained, but it is advised to consult doctors and to diligently perform (Islamic exorcism), recite Adhkar (remembrances of Allah), and recite the Quran, as it could be the evil eye or magic. Increasing one's remembrance of Allah () and seeking forgiveness (Istighfar) revives the heart and dispels negative feelings. Allah the Almighty said: "Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."
