Is it true what is said: "If the man's water overpowers the woman's water, the offspring will be male," and is there anything in the Prophet's Sunnah that helps in begetting a male child?

The hadith mentioned in the question is authentic, narrated by Imam Muslim, and its wording is: "The man's fluid is white and the woman's fluid is yellow. When they meet, and the man's fluid overrides the woman's fluid, they will, by Allah's will, be male. And when the woman's fluid overrides the man's fluid, they will, by Allah's will, be female." As for the possibility of causing maleness or femaleness through human action and will, nothing has been reported about it from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
