What is the religious ruling on a person who orders the television to be turned off upon hearing the Qur’an and says, "Go to the mosque," while he neglects his children and wife, does not perform prayers on time, and has been absent from the Isha prayer for four days, claiming illness, while being in full possession of his mental faculties and health?

This person who forbids the listening to the Qur'an, is neglectful towards his family, and does not perform prayers on time, and has abandoned the Isha' prayer for four days under the pretext of illness, despite being in full possession of his mental faculties, has fallen into grave transgressions and sins. Illness does not justify abandoning prayer as long as a person is sane; rather, he must pray according to his ability. He must be advised to repent from these sins before it is too late.
