Does a mother's answered prayer against her daughter—that she "burn to ashes in Hell"—due to the daughter's marriage to a religious man and her wearing of the hijab, invalidate the daughter's acts of worship?

Parents must not be obeyed if they command disobedience to the Creator, such as abandoning the hijab or prayer. Their supplication in this case will not be answered because it is a supplication for something unjust, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The supplication of any of you will be answered as long as he does not pray for a sin or for the severance of ties of kinship." The story of Jurayj differs from this situation; his mother's supplication against him was answered because he neglected her right by prioritizing a supererogatory prayer over answering her, whereas obeying a parent in disobedience to Allah is not obligatory.
