Is it necessary to mention the name of the one who conveyed the news (the source) when offering congratulations or transmitting news?

A Muslim congratulating his brother is permissible in any formula, but one should confine oneself to what was reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, such as his saying to the married person: "May Allah bless you and shower His blessings upon you and unite you both in goodness." And for what nothing has been reported from him, one should strive in supplicating with what suits the state of the blessing, such as saying: "May Allah bless you in what He has bestowed, may you be grateful to the Bestower, may he reach his full strength, and may you be granted his righteousness." There is no harm in mentioning or not mentioning the one who informed you of the congratulation.
