The maintenance of the wife and children is obligatory upon the husband. If the wife spends on her husband with the intention of being reimbursed, she has the right to reclaim what she spent, provided she has proof or an oath. It is advised to resort to wise people for reconciliation, otherwise, the judiciary is the ultimate arbiter. It is also recommended to be patient, seek reward from Allah, and have a good opinion of Him.
