If there is no benefit in shunning, then continue to communicate with them, reminding them of the seriousness of abandoning prayer and inviting them to adhere to it. As for those among family and brethren who do not deserve to be shunned, it is not legislated to shun them due to the presence of some transgressors among them, because shunning is a severance of kinship ties, and averting harm takes precedence over achieving a benefit.
