Is a woman sinful if she carries the Quran in her handbag and unintentionally touches it while she is menstruating?

There is no impediment for a menstruating woman to carry theaf in a bag, provided that she does not intend to carry theaf itself, and that she takes precautions not to touch it during her period and before complete purification. If she touches it unintentionally, there is no sin upon her, for Allah Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended."
