What is the reward for the martyr who dies from a plague?

A person afflicted with an abdominal disease is considered a martyr, meaning they receive the reward of martyrs in the Hereafter. This is what Al-Nawawi mentioned in his commentary on the hadith: "Martyrs are five: the one who dies of plague, the one who dies of an abdominal disease, the one who drowns, the one who dies under a collapsed building, and the one martyred in the way of Allah." He added that these individuals will receive the reward of martyrs in the Hereafter, and they are to be washed and prayed over. Al-Qadi Al-Baydawi clarified that whoever dies from an abdominal disease or plague is assimilated to one who is killed in the way of Allah due to their sharing in some of the honor, because of the hardship they endured.
