Is it permissible for a girl who experiences (vaginal) discharge to lead her female colleagues in prayer, given that she is proficient in Qur’an recitation, and is she required to use a sanitary pad, or is it sufficient for her to perform ablution for each prayer if the discharge occurs multiple times daily and she prays at work?

If the girl is not afflicted with a perpetual hadath (definition) (incontinence that does not stop for a sufficient time for purification and prayer), and she is the most skilled in recitation, then she has priority in leading the prayer (imamah), and her imamah is valid without any dislike (karahah). As for the imamah of a woman afflicted with perpetual hadath, there is a difference of opinion, and the preponderant view is that it is permissible and valid. However, it is more cautious for another woman, not afflicted with perpetual hadath, to lead the prayer if she recites well. Being cautious about vaginal discharge is not obligatory according to those who deem it pure, which is the preponderant view, though it is better to do so to avoid scholarly disagreement.
