How was the Quran revealed over a full 23 years, taking into account that it was revealed on Laylat al-Qadr, and Laylat al-Qadr is in Ramadan, and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, only fasted for 9 years?

The Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, at the beginning of his prophethood in the month of Ramadan, specifically on the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), as indicated by the noble verses. Its revelation then continued intermittently for 23 years until shortly before his passing. There is no connection between the revelation of the Qur'an and the imposition of fasting, as fasting was mandated in the second year of the Hijra, approximately 15 years after the commencement of the Qur'an's revelation. The connection lies between the Qur'an and the month of Ramadan and the Night of Decree, which was known before fasting was enjoined. The Qur'an was revealed as a whole from the Preserved Tablet to the lowest heaven on the Night of Decree, and then it was revealed to the Prophet, peace be upon him, in parts.
