What is the meaning of the noble verse: "The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an"?

The verse: "The month of Ramadan in which the Qur'an was revealed" indicates the elevated status of Ramadan, as it was chosen as the time for the revelation of the Qur'an. Ibn Kathir praised Ramadan for its distinction of being the month in which the Qur'an was revealed, and he pointed out that the hadiths mention it is also the month in which other divine books were revealed. The scriptures of Abraham, the Torah, and the Gospel were revealed in it, and similarly, the Qur'an was revealed on the twenty-fourth of it.
