How does a husband make up his prayers after he has stayed seven days asleep in the hospital by order of the doctors?

If a person loses consciousness involuntarily, such as fainting due to an accident, there is a difference of opinion regarding the obligation of making up the prayers (qada'): The Malikis and Shafi'is hold that it is not obligatory, the Hanbalis say it is obligatory, and the Hanafis say it is obligatory if the number of prayers does not exceed six. The most preponderant view is that involuntary unconsciousness does not necessitate making up the prayers, unless it lasts for three days or less, in which case it is obligatory to make them up as a precaution, following the tradition of Ammar ibn Yasir, may Allah be pleased with him.

However, if consciousness is lost voluntarily, such as someone who takes anesthesia for a surgical procedure, then making up the prayers is obligatory.

And if consciousness is lost involuntarily and then the patient is given anesthesia without their knowledge, they are not obliged to make up the prayers. However, if they make up the few missed prayers, it is more cautious.
