The answer

Illness is not an excuse to abandon prayer. The sick person must pray according to their condition. If prayers were missed, you are obligated to repent and perform immediate make-up prayers in their proper order, starting with the earliest missed prayer. If the time for the present prayer is at hand and its time is becoming short, it is obligatory to perform it before the missed prayers. Scholars have differed on prioritizing a missed prayer over a present prayer when time is short, but if the missed prayers are numerous, there is no disagreement on prioritizing the present prayer. Making up missed prayers is immediately obligatory, provided it does not harm one's body or livelihood. Some scholars mentioned that the minimum to make up is two days' worth in one day.
