Does praying four Rak'ahs before 'Asr build a house in Jannah for the one who prays them?
It has not been authentically reported in the Sunnah that a house will be built in Paradise for someone who prays four rak'ahs before Asr. Rather, what has been reported is the Prophet's (peace be upon him) supplication for mercy upon the one who does so. On the authority of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "May Allah have mercy on a person who prays four [rak'ahs] before Asr."
It has also been reported that this prayer was among the voluntary acts performed by the Prophet (peace be upon him). Imam Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Al-Bayhaqi narrated that when Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the Prophet's (peace be upon him) voluntary prayers during the day, he mentioned that he (peace be upon him) used to pray four rak'ahs before Asr.
