Does uttering the words "You are divorced, you are divorced, you are divorced" with the intention of no reconciliation constitute a triple divorce, or is it counted as a single divorce?

A wife harming her husband is forbidden. Repeated divorce pronouncements may be intended as an announcement or as an initiation. If it is an announcement, it does not count as a new divorce. If it is an initiation after the iddah (waiting period) has ended, it does not take effect. But if it is before the iddah has ended, then it counts according to the majority of scholars. In this case, your intention behind saying "divorced, divorced, divorced" is considered: if you intended one divorce, then one divorce is binding upon you; if you intended three, then three divorces are binding upon you according to the majority. If one divorce is binding, you can take her back before the iddah expires. However, if three divorces are binding, she becomes unlawful to you until she marries someone else. Ibn Taymiyyah's view is that a second divorce does not take effect before reconciliation or renewal of the marriage contract.
